Local Incontinence classes cover every aspect of living with leaking urine and or gas and stool. Twenty two classes have been held so far. Insurance has reimbursed for the first time in U.S. history. The check is in the bank not the mail! Hooray! Men and women found the classes helpful and informative. In 2007 lectures were also held for visiting nurses and for a prostate cancer support meeting. National Grace Anatomy, Inc. leaders are active in national organizations, promoting the reduction in stigma for those who have special needs. Grace Anatomy, Inc., Executive Director, Diana Hankey Underwood spoke on fecal incontinence at a national medical conference for nurse practitioners. She also attended the Simon Foundation for Continence "Engineering for Continence" seminar in Chicago. We helped get a prototype of a new product started, and will continue to help industry leaders as they engineer and introduce new products to help make incontinence more bearable. (More)

International Recently, Grace Anatomy, Inc., had the opportunity to raise funds and in-kind donations to bring the leading colorectal doctor from the country of Kazakhstan, to work with Dr. Alberto Peña and Dr. Marc Levitt, two of the worlds leading specialists in children's rectal problems. Many children are born with birth defects in this area, and without proper medical care, they face many extra challenges in life. We also brought a team over to attend the National Institutes of Health consensus meeting on prevention of fecal and urinary incontinence (Dec 12-15, 2007) and provided surgical observations and training time to help them in their endeavor to set up their first colostomy clinic. We are committed to continuing to spread excellent education about these problems and relief around the globe. Although we are starting with work in Kazakhstan, we hope to eventually be able to help many countries. (More)
